วิธีการ Restore ข้อมูลคืนกลับมาลง iPhone ด้วยโปรแกรม iTune
การ Restore คือ การกู้ข้อมูลที่เก็บไว้ใน Computer-PC มาลงใน iPhone (กู้จากข้อมูลที่ได้ทำการ Back Up เอาไว้)

เรามักจะทำการกู้ข้อมูลลง iPhone จาก 2 กรณีใหญ่ๆ คือ

การ Backup iTunes Library
โดยปกติแล้ว การ Sync เพลง, Ringtones, หนัง, Applications, Games ต่างๆ ลง iTune นั้น
โปรแกรม iTune จะเก็บข้อมูลสำคัญเอาไว้ ลงพื้นที่ ที่เรียกว่า iTune Library
ซึ่งจะอยู่ที่


C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\My Documents\My Music\iTunes
และ
C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\Application Data\Apple Computer

โดยทาง iTune จะเก็บข้อมูลต่างๆ เกี่ยวกับชื่อเพลง, Playlist และข้อมูลเกียวกับ iPhone ของเราเอาไว้
มันจึ่งมีความสำคัญที่ต้องเก็บเอาไว้ โดยเฉพาะ ถ้าเราต้องการล้างเครื่อง Computer-PC /ติดตั้ง Microsoft Windows ใหม่เป็นต้น

เป็นวิธีที่ง่ายที่สุดและแนะนำที่สุดครับ เพราะ iTunes จะ Backup ทุกอย่างให้เรา
ทั้งการตั้งค่าใน Settings และยัง Backup ตำแหน่งการจัดเรียง icon ไว้ด้วยครับ
แต่พวกโปรแกรมต่างๆไม่มี Backup ให้นะ ต้องลงใหม่เอง แต่พอลงใหม่ก็จะเห็นว่าโปรแกรมจะไปอยู่ในตำแหน่งเดิม

แต่ทั้งนี้บางครั้งอาจะจเกิดการ Backup มาไม่ครบได้นะครับ ควรใช้คู่กับการ Backup วิธีอื่นด้วยนะ

If it ain't broke, don't fix it -- right? We know countless reviews of the iPhone 3G S may begin with that cliché, but there's little chance you'd find a better way to describe the strategy that Apple has just put into play with its latest smartphone. In many ways, the 3G S is a mirror image of the iPhone 3G; externally there's no difference. It's inside where all the changes have happened, with Apple issuing a beefed-up CPU, new internal compass, larger capacities for storage, and improved optics for its camera. More to the point, the release of the 3G S coincides with the launch of iPhone OS 3.0, a major jump from previous versions of the system software featuring highly sought after features like cut, copy, and paste, stereo Bluetooth, MMS, tethering, video recording, landscape keyboard options for more applications, and an iPhone version of Spotlight. At a glance, what Apple seems to be doing is less a reinvention of the wheel and more like retreading the wheel it's already got (and what a wheel, right?). So, do the iPhone 3G S and OS 3.0 tweak the details in just the right places, or has Apple gone and gotten lazy on us? Read on to find out.

Apple appears to be playing games with shipments of its new iPhone 3G S to customers who ordered online. Earlier promises of "delivery by June 19" have been replaced by "delivery by June 22." Meanwhile, downloads of iPhone OS 3.0 updates, promised for today, have apparently not yet begun.

iPhone 3G S customers report that their phones, according to UPS tracking information, appear to have arrived in the U.S. from China. Earlier this week, the tracking site promised delivery to customers as early as today.

UPS then pulled any mention of a delivery date, saying instead that the recipient had requested a delivery delay. A call to UPS revealed that Apple--not the recipient--had demanded the delay. Now, iPhone 3GS units are scheduled for delivery by 10:30 a.m. on Friday, according to UPS, which is also now referring delivery questions to Apple.

Still, the UPS tracking site continues to report a June 18 delivery to some customers, which is consistent with Apple's earlier "before June 19" promise. Questioned about this, a UPS customer service rep repeated that deliveries would actually take place Friday morning.

Almost as anxiously awaited as the new iPhone is a software upgrade for current owners. iPhone OS 3.0 includes important new features, such as cut-and-paste and a unique "find my iPhone" capability to locate and optionally scrub data from a lost handset.

As of 7:45 a.m. PT, using iTunes to request a software upgrade still reports that Version 2.2.1 is the "current version" of iPhone software. Apple has some hours to make good on its promise the upgrade would be available June 17.

Hardware

Screen and input

The touchscreen is a 9 cm (3.5 in) liquid crystal display (320×480 px at 6.3 px/mm, 160 ppi, HVGA) with scratch-resistant glass,[32] and can render 262,144 colors. The capacitive touchscreen is designed for a bare finger, or multiple fingers for multi-touch sensing. Most gloves and styluses prevent the necessary electrical conductivity.

The display responds to three sensors. A proximity sensor deactivates the display and touchscreen when the iPhone is brought near the face during a call. This is done to save battery power and to prevent inadvertent inputs from the user's face and ears. An ambient light sensor adjusts the display brightness which in turn saves battery power. A 3-axis accelerometer senses the orientation of the phone and changes the screen accordingly, allowing the user to easily switch between portrait and landscape mode.[37] Photo browsing, web browsing, and music playing support both upright and left or right widescreen orientations.[38] The accelerometer can be used to control third party games, and the 3.0 update will introduce shaking the unit as a form of input.[39][40] Later, a software update allowed the first generation iPhone to use cell towers and Wi-Fi networks location trilateration, despite lacking GPS hardware. The iPhone 3G supplements those methods with A-GPS.

The iPhone has three physical switches on the sides: wake/sleep, volume up/down, and ringer on/off. These are made of plastic on the original iPhone and metal on the iPhone 3G. A single "home" hardware button below the display brings up the main menu. The touch screen furnishes the remainder of the user interface.

The back of the original iPhone was made of aluminum with a black plastic accent. The iPhone 3G features a full plastic back to increase GSM signal strength. The plastic is black for the 8 GB model, but the 16 GB version is also available in white.

Audio and output

One loudspeaker is located above the screen as an earpiece, and another is located on the left side of the bottom of the unit, opposite a microphone on the bottom-right. Volume controls are located on the left side of the unit and as a slider in the iPod application. Both speakers are used for handsfree operations and media playback.

The 3.5 mm TRRS connector for the headphones is located on the top left corner of the device.[43] The headphone socket on the original iPhone is recessed into the casing, making it incompatible with most headsets without the use of an adapter. The iPhone 3G eliminates the issue with a flush mounted headphone socket.

While the iPhone is compatible with normal headphones, Apple provides a headset with additional functionality. A multipurpose button near the microphone can be used to play or pause music, skip tracks, and answer or end phone calls without touching the iPhone itself. A small number of third-party headsets specifically designed for the iPhone also include the microphone and control button. Apple sells headsets with volume controls, but they are not compatible with the iPhone.

The built-in Bluetooth 2.x+EDR supports wireless earpieces, which requires the HSP profile. Stereo audio will be added in the 3.0 update for hardware that supports A2DP. While illicit solutions exist, the iPhone does not officially support laptop tethering[48][49] or the OBEX file transfer protocol. The lack of these profiles prevent iPhone users from exchanging multimedia files, such as pictures, music and videos, with other bluetooth-enabled cell phones.

Composite or component video at up to 576i and stereo audio can be output from the dock connector using an adapter sold by Apple.Unlike many similar phones, the iPhone currently requires third party software to support voice recording. Apple is planning such an application for the 3.0 software update.[

Battery

The iPhone features an internal rechargeable battery. Like an iPod but unlike most other cell phones, the battery is not user-replaceable.[44][52] The iPhone can be charged when connected to a computer for syncing across the included USB to dock connector cable, similar to charging an iPod. Alternatively, a USB to AC adapter (or "wall charger," also included) can be connected to the cable to charge directly from a AC outlet. A number of third party accessories (stereos, car chargers, even solar chargers) are also available.[53]

If the battery malfunctions or dies prematurely, the phone can be returned to Apple and replaced for free while still under warranty.[54] The warranty lasts one year from purchase and is extended to two years with AppleCare. The cost of having Apple provide a new battery and replace it when the iPhone is out of warranty is slightly less than half the cost of a new 8 GB iPhone.[55] The Foundation for Taxpayer and Consumer Rights, a consumer advocate group, has sent a complaint to Apple and AT&T over the fee that consumers have to pay to have the battery replaced.[56] Though the battery replacement service and its pricing was not made known to buyers until the day the product was launched,[56][57] it is similar to how Apple (and third parties) replace batteries for iPods.

Since July 2007 third party battery replacement kits have been available[58] at a much lower price than Apple's own battery replacement program. These kits often include a small screwdriver and an instruction leaflet, but as with many newer iPod models the battery in the original iPhone has been soldered in. Therefore a soldering iron is required to install the new battery. The iPhone 3G uses a different battery fitted with a connector that is easier to replace, although replacing the battery oneself still voids the warranty.[59]

The original iPhone's battery was stated to be capable of providing up to seven hours of video, six hours of web browsing, eight hours of talk time, 24 hours of music or up to 250 hours on standby.[32] Apple's site says that the battery life "is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity after 400 full charge and discharge cycles",[60] which is comparable to iPod batteries. The iPhone 3G's battery is stated to be capable of providing up to seven hours of video, six hours of web browsing on Wi-Fi or five on 3G, ten hours of 2G talk time, or five on 3G, 24 hours of music, or 300 hours of standby.[1

SIM card

The SIM card is located in a slot at the top of the device. It can be ejected with a paperclip or a tool included with the iPhone 3G.[61] In most countries, the iPhone is usually sold with a SIM lock, which prevents the iPhone from being used on a different mobile network.

Storage

The iPhone was initially released with two options for internal storage size: 4 GB or 8 GB. On September 5, 2007, Apple discontinued the 4 GB models.[62] On February 5, 2008, Apple added a 16 GB model.[63] All data is stored on the internal flash drive; the iPhone does not contain any memory card slots for expanded storage.

Included items

Both the iPhone and the iPhone 3G include written documentation, stereo earbuds with microphone, a dock connector to USB cable, and a cloth for cleaning the screen. The original iPhone also included a dock to hold the iPhone upright; it is not compatible with the iPhone 3G, for which a slightly different dock is sold separately. The iPhone 3G includes a tool to eject the SIM card; the original model required a paperclip. Both versions include a USB power adapter, although iPhone 3Gs sold in North America, Japan, Colombia, Ecuador, or Peru[64][65] include a more compact version than those bundled with iPhone 3Gs sold elsewhere, or the original model.

Software

The iPhone (and iPod Touch) run an operating system known as iPhone OS. It is based on a variant of the same basic Mach kernel that is found in Mac OS X. iPhone OS includes the software component "Core Animation" from Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard which, together with the PowerVR MBX 3D hardware, is responsible for the interface's smooth animations. The operating system takes up less than half a GB of the device's total storage (4, 8, or 16 GB).[66] It is capable of supporting bundled and future applications from Apple, as well as from third-party developers. Software applications cannot be copied directly from Mac OS X but must be written and compiled specifically for iPhone OS.

Like the iPod, the iPhone is managed with iTunes. It requires version 7.3 or later, which is compatible with Mac OS X version 10.4.10 Tiger or later, and 32-bit or 64-bit Windows XP or Vista.[67] The release of iTunes 7.6 expanded this support to include 64-bit versions of XP and Vista,[68] and a workaround has been discovered for previous 64-bit Windows operating systems.[69] Apple provides free updates to the iPhone's operating system through iTunes, in a similar fashion to the way that iPods are updated.[66] Security patches, as well as new and improved features, are released in this fashion.[70] For example, iPhone 3G users initially experienced dropped calls until an update was issued.[71][72]

Interface

The interface is based around the home screen, a graphical list of available applications. iPhone applications normally run one at a time, although most functionality is still available when making a call or listening to music. The home screen can be accessed at any time by a hardware button below the screen, closing the open application in the process.[73] By default, the Home screen contains the following icons: Text (SMS messaging), Calendar, Photos, Camera, YouTube, Stocks, Maps (Google Maps), Weather, Clock, Calculator, Notes, Settings, iTunes (store), and App Store. Docked at the base of the screen, four icons for Phone, Mail, Safari (Internet), and iPod (music) delineate the iPhone's main purposes.[74] On January 15, 2008, Apple released software update 1.1.3, allowing users to create "Web Clips", home screen icons that resemble apps that open a user-defined page in Safari. After the update, iPhone users can rearrange and place icons on up to nine other adjacent home screens, accessed by a horizontal swipe.[75] Users can also add and delete icons from the dock, which is the same on every home screen. Each home screen holds up to sixteen icons, and the dock holds up to four icons. Users can delete Web Clips and third-party applications at any time, and may select only certain applications for transfer from iTunes. Apple's default programs, however, may not be removed. The 3.0 update will add a system-wide search, known as Spotlight, to the left of the first home screen.[39][40]

Almost all input is given through the touch screen, which understands complex gestures using multi-touch. The iPhone's interaction techniques enable the user to move the content up or down by a touch-drag motion of the finger. For example, zooming in and out of web pages and photos is done by placing two fingers on the screen and spreading them farther apart or bringing them closer together, an gesture known as "pinching". Scrolling through a long list or menu is achieved by sliding a finger over the display from bottom to top, or vice versa to go back. In either case, the list moves as if it is pasted on the outer surface of a wheel, slowly decelerating as if affected by friction. In this way, the interface simulates the physics of a real object. Other visual effects include horizontally sliding sub-selection, the vertically sliding keyboard and bookmarks menu, and widgets that turn around to allow settings to be configured on the other side. Menu bars are found at the top and bottom of the screen when necessary. Their options vary by program, but always follow a consistent style motif. In menu hierarchies, a "back" button in the top-left corner of the screen displays the name of the parent folder.

Camera and photos

The iPhone features a built in 2.0 megapixel camera located on the back for still digital photos. It has no optical zoom, flash or autofocus, and does not support video recording. Version 2.0 of iPhone OS introduced the capability to embed location data in the pictures, producing geocoded photographs.

The iPhone includes software that allows the user to upload, view, and e-mail photos. The user zooms in and out of photos by sliding two fingers further apart or closer together, much like Safari. The Camera application also lets users view the camera roll, the pictures that have been taken with the iPhone's camera. Those pictures are also available in the Photos application, along with any transferred from iPhoto or Aperture on a Mac, or Photoshop in Windows.

เอทีแอนด์ทีไวร์เลสส์

เอทีแอนด์ทีโมบิลิตี (อังกฤษ: AT&T Mobility) เป็นผู้ให้บริการเครือข่ายโทรศัพท์มือถือที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในสหรัฐอเมริกา มีผู้ใช้บริการประมาณ 59 ล้านราย (ณ ปี 2549) สำนักงานใหญ่ตั้งอยู่ที่เมืองแอตแลนตา รัฐจอร์เจีย บริษัทก่อตั้งในปีพ.ศ. 2544 โดยการรวมตัวกันของเอสบีซี(ซึ่งต่อมากลายเป็นเอทีแอนด์ที) และเบลล์เซาท์(ซึ่งต่อมาบริษัทกลายเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของเอทีแอนด์ทีเช่นกัน)
ปัจจุบันบริษัทเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของเอทีแอนด์ที ซึ่งให้บริการทั้งโทรศัพท์พื้นฐาน, อินเทอร์เน็ตความเร็วสูง และโทรทัศน์ผ่านดาวเทียม ชื่อเดิมของบริษัทคือซิงกิวลาร์ไวร์เลสส์ ได้มีการเปลี่ยนชื่อในวันที่ 15 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2550 โดยบริษัทจะใช้ชื่อทั้งสองควบคู่กันไปเป็นระยะเวลาประมาณ 2-3 เดือน

บริษัท ทรู มูฟ จำกัด (True Move) เป็นบริษัทที่ทำธุรกิจให้บริการโทรศัพท์มือถือรายหนึ่งในประเทศไทย เดิมเป็นบริษัทร่วมทุนระหว่างเทเลคอม เอเชีย กับกลุ่มออเร้นจ์จากประเทศฝรั่งเศส ในชื่อ ทีเอ ออเร้นจ์ แต่ใน พ.ศ. 2547 กลุ่มออเร้นจ์ได้ถอนทุนออกไปจากประเทศไทย ทางเทเลคอมเอเชียซึ่งเป็นบริษัทแม่จึงได้เปลี่ยนชื่อเป็นทรู คอร์ปอเรชั่น และเปลี่ยนชื่อ ทีเอ ออเร้นจ์ เป็น ทรู มูฟ

ผู้ผลิต

ประวัติโดยย่อ
บริษัท Apple Computer Inc. ได้เกิดขึ้นจากการร่วมกันก่อตั้งของ สตีฟ จ็อบส์ และ สตีฟ วอซเนียก ทำการปฏิวัติธุรกิจคอมพิวเตอร์ตั้งโต๊ะในยุค 70 โดยการนำเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์เครื่องแรกที่ประดิษฐ์จากโรงรถออกมาขาย ในชื่อ Apple I ที่ราคาจำหน่าย 666.66 เหรียญ ในจำนวนและระยะเวลาจำกัด ภายในปีถัดมาก็ได้ผลิตเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ที่ทำยอดจำหน่ายสูงสุดให้กับบริษัท ณ ขณะนั้นคือ Apple II ซึ่งเป็นการเปิดศักราชใหม่แห่งวงการไมโครคอมพิวเตอร์ และเป็นการสร้างมาตรฐานให้กับไมโครคอมพิวเตอร์ที่เกิดมาตามหลังทั้งหมด (อย่างไรก็ดี ในช่วงเวลาดังกล่าว ทางบริษัทจะมุ่งเน้นการขายระบบปฏิบัติการมากกว่าที่จะขายผลิตภัณฑ์ไมโครคอมพิวเตอร์ เนื่องจากประสิทธิภาพของผลิตภัณฑ์จากบริษัท Intel และ IBM ทำงานได้ดีกว่า)

ต่อมาในยุค 80 Apple Inc. ได้พัฒนาเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ให้มีประสิทธิภาพเพิ่มขึ้น ส่งผลถึงยอดจำหน่ายที่สูงขึ้นตามลำดับ ภายใต้ชื่อผลิตภัณฑ์ Macintosh ซึ่งยังส่งผลให้ Apple ยังคงมีชื่อเสียงในด้านผลิตภัณฑ์มาจนถึงปัจจุบัน ด้วยมาตรฐานและเอกลักษณ์ทางการตลาดที่สอดคล้องกับปณิธานองค์กรที่ว่า “คิดอย่างแตกต่าง (Think Different)”

ผลิตภัณฑ์ที่มักได้รับการกล่าวถึงและเป็นที่นิยมอย่างแพร่หลายในปัจจุบัน อาจแบ่งได้เป็น 3 กลุ่มด้วยกัน ได้แก่

1.เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ ทั้งที่เป็นคอมพิวเตอร์ขนาดพกพา (MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air) และคอมพิวเตอร์ส่วนบุคคล (iMac, Mac Pro, PowerMac)
2.ระบบปฏิบัติการคอมพิวเตอร์ ได้แก่ Mac OSX (แมคโอเอสเท็น)
3.อุปกรณ์ฟังเพลงขนาดพกพา ได้แก่ สายผลิตภัณฑ์ iPod และ iPhone
4.อุปกรณ์เสริมต่างๆ เช่น iSight, AirPort ฯลฯ
5.โปรแกรมและบริการเสริมต่างๆ อาทิ iTunes เป็นต้น

iPhone

iPhone คือ โทรศัพท์มือถือเครื่องแรกจากค่ายผลิตคอมพิวเตอร์ คือ Apple ออกมาเมื่อ มิถุนายนปี 2007 เริ่มขายที่ US เป็นที่แรก ด้วยราคาประมาณ 400$ มั๊งนะ จำไม่ได้แล้วแต่ตอนนั้นขายพร้อม plan จาก AT&T เหมือนกับ plan ของ HUTCH ในบ้านเรานั่นแหละ แล้วเครื่องก็ มีความจุ 4GB

จุดเด่นของเครื่อง iPhone ก็คือ อย่างแรก หน้าตาครับ สวยงามตามแบบฉบับ apple จับถนัดมือ ไปลองเล่นดูจะรู้ว่ามันพอดีมือจริง ๆ (มือฝรั่งนะครับ) มือผู้หญิงตัวน้อย เนี่ยก็ไม่ค่อยพอดีเท่าไหร่ ต่อมาคือ function ใช้มือถู ไม่ใช่ stylus จิ้มเหมือน pocket PC phone ทั่วไป อย่าใช้เล็บถูนะครับ มันจะพัง ใช้เนื้อตรงนิ้วถู มันถึงจะติด ลื่นดี อีกเรื่องก็มันมี function ที่เรียกว่า multitouch ใช้นิ้วบีบและถ่างเพื่อทำการขยายหรือย่อรูป หรือหน้าจอ webpage ทั่ว ๆ ไป แค่สามเรื่องก็กินขาดแล้ว ที่ดีขึ้นอีกคือมันเป็น iPod ที่ apple บอกว่า เป็นเครื่องที่ดีที่สุดที่เคยผลิต ใครไม่เคยลองก็ลองซะ มันไม่เหมือนเครื่องเล่น MP3 ของจีน ที่เครืองละไม่กี่พันหรอก ลองดูแล้วจะรู้

โดยสรุปมันคือ iPod ที่โทรศัพท์ได้ ไม่ใช่ PDA phone หรือ Pocket PC phone แต่อย่างใด เพราะมันลง program เพิ่มเติมไม่ได้ ณ ขณะนี้ แต่ก็มีมากับเครื่องและ up ได้บ้างไม่มาก แต่ก็เพียงพอแล้วสำหรับการใช้งาน เอาหละ อยากรู้ราคาหละสิ ตอนนี้ในเมืองไทย เป็นเครื่องหิ้วทั้งหมด เพราะมันยังไม่เข้าเมืองไทย ทำการ unlock เองโดยร้านต่าง ๆ ราคาประมาณ 2 หมื่นขึ้นไปสำหรับรุ่น 8GB ครับ
